Luxestands wordmark

Design & specifications

Machined from aluminium, resolved to a single line.

Every dimension is drawn around a moment of service: how a guest reaches, how a bag rests, how close a service team must pass.

The Luxestands silhouette on its own: slim column, weighted square base and engraved metal tag.

Design principles

Four decisions the object is built around.

Stability first

A weighted square base holds the stand steady in a room where guests move, chairs shift and service passes close.

A top bar that protects

Broad enough to carry a handle or strap without pressing a mark into leather, so the bag is supported rather than merely hung.

Floor-conscious

The underside is finished to sit against stone, timber and fine carpet without leaving a trace of its presence.

Quiet by design

A slim vertical line reads as part of the room. Nothing about the object competes with the interior it serves.

Bespoke programme

Drawn into the specification, not placed on top of it.

The bespoke work is the point of the object. Each commission begins with the interior, its palette, its metalwork and its floor, and ends with a stand that belongs to that room and to the house whose mark it carries.

01available
Engraved property mark
The house wordmark laser-engraved into the top bar, set to the operator's own brand standards. Cut into the aluminium rather than applied to it, so it neither wears nor catches the light away from the room.
02on commission
Specified to the interior
Finish and detailing developed against the room the stand will live in: the FF&E palette, the metalwork already in the space, the floor it stands on. The object is drawn to belong to that interior rather than introduce another one.
03on commission
The bag surface
The top bar can be developed in a specified material where an operator wants a softer plane against fine leather. Detailing is resolved with the design team as part of the commission.
04on commission
Base detailing
Work carried into the machined base itself, treated as a single considered element with the top bar. Developed per property and confirmed on drawing before production.

How a commission runs

  1. 01ConsultationThe environment, the seating plan and the standard you hold the room to.
  2. 02SpecificationDimensions, finish direction and engraving artwork prepared for review.
  3. 03ApprovalDrawing and finish confirmed with the design or brand team before anything is cut.
  4. 04DeliveryStands arrive resolved and ready to place, with a deployment approach agreed in advance.

Beyond the stand

Solutions for running this at scale.

Storage, movement and deployment are being developed alongside the object, so a property can hold the standard across every room without it becoming a service burden.

The storage valet

A single rolling unit that holds a service of stands together and moves them to the floor in one pass. In development for properties working with limited back-of-house room.

Deployment at scale

Where a stand is specified across a restaurant, a ballroom and a private dining room, the approach to placing, collecting and holding them is designed alongside the object itself.

Event programmes

Short-run deployments for a single evening, prepared to the same standard as a permanent installation and resolved with the production team in advance.
